Dave Bartek 

Founder

Dave spent his college years playing at Capital University and Piedmont College. Shortly after graduating he began coaching at the high school and college level before going on to receive several advanced certifications in strength & conditioning through The National Academy of Sports Medicine.

Dave has dedicated a decade to coaching and researching the major aspects of baseball performance: hitting, throwing, and running with the goal of incorporating an integrated, results driven training method. 

Dr. Dale Bartek 

Founder

Dale brings a decade of elite-level training experience combining advanced skills in orthopedic Physical therapy and strength & conditioning.

A graduate of Piedmont College, Dale went on to receive his Doctorate in Physical Therapy now hoding affiliations with the most prestigious institutions and societies in the rehab medicine industry.

He is recognized internationally for his work with Olympic gold medalists, and professional athletes from the MLB, UFC, NFL, NBA and NHL. 

Greg Hendrix 

Director of Velocity Max

Greg brings to our team decades of knowledge and experience in pitching, training, arm care, and development. A local Atlanta area standout, Greg was drafted in 2006 by the Los Angeles Dodgers. Beginning his college career at Shelton State CC, he made two appearances in the Juco World Series before moving on to pitch at Southeastern Missouri and Southern Polytechnic in Marietta, GA where he pitched on another World Series level team.

In 2011, Greg started his pro career, pitching here in the US, as well as overseas in the UK, Australia, and Germany making appearances in the World Baseball Classic for the Great Britain Team on several occasions. Greg has a son, Charlie, who is now pitching at Division 1 Georgetown University, and a daughter Adeline.

Greg's extensive studies of the mechanical throwing sequence has helped shape the Velocity Max Program and helped hundreds of ballplayers maximize their throwing and pitching potential. 

Greg possesses tons of passion for the game, and pitching itself and is a great mentor the rest of our staff and young athletes.

Shannon van Wyck

Director of Strength & Performance

Shannon was born and raised in Australia. At age 18, Shannon moved over to the United States to play college baseball at Indian Hills Community College (IA). After two years at Indian Hills, he moved on to play at Kennesaw State University and was a major contributor as one of the main left handed pitchers on the staff.

Shannon received his Bachelors of Science in Exercise-Health Science from Kennesaw State University and has since amassed 19 years of professional experience in strength and conditioning including time spent as the Atlanta Falcons Assistant Strength & Conditioning Coach, Head Performance Coach at Velocity Sports Performance in Roswell, and Exercise Physiologist at High Intensity Training Centers in Kennesaw. He later went on to open his own facility, Complex Strength & Conditioning, in Marietta before taking a position with the Atlanta Braves as a Data Operations Specialist.

Shannon has a USA Weightlifting Level 1 Certification, a decade of experience coaching travel baseball, and a wealth of knowledge from some of the greatest leaders and mentors in the Strength & Conditioning space.

Bobby Holley

Director of All Barrels Hitting Academy

Bobby is a former UCLA shortstop and nine-year professional baseball veteran. At Long Beach Poly High School, he helped lead the Jackrabbits to their first Moore League title in over 30 years. At UCLA, Holley was a three-year starter, contributing to the Bruins’ 1986 PAC-6 championship and playing alongside future MLB stars like Erik Karros, Bob Hamelin, Jeff Conine, and Torey Lovullo.

Drafted by the Detroit Tigers in 1988, Holley played nine pro seasons, reaching Triple-A with the Mariners and earning 1991 Carolina League All-Star honors. He hit 77 home runs over his career and spent time with the Royals and Expos organizations.

As a coach, Holley led Centennial HS (CA) to the playoffs in his first season, coached multiple travel teams in Georgia, and was the 2021 hitting coach for the Wisconsin Rapids Rafters (Northwoods League). He also co-founded Hardball Warehouse, one of the nation’s largest youth baseball training facilities, developing players and elite travel teams.

Holley brings a wealth of experience and a passion for helping young athletes reach their potential.

Dr. Corey Arnold PT, DPT

Physical Therapist

Corey has 9 years of experience in strength and conditioning and 6 years in physical therapy, with a focus on helping athletes recover, perform at a high level, and stay injury-free. He earned his Bachelor’s in Kinesiology (2015) and Doctor of Physical Therapy (2023) from Georgia Southern University, building a strong foundation in both performance training and rehabilitation.

Corey has worked with athletes from youth to professional levels, specializing in golf and baseball. His approach blends strength and conditioning with advanced physical therapy to deliver individualized, sport-specific programs for each athlete’s needs and goals. Whether improving strength, mobility, or on-field performance, Corey is dedicated to helping athletes return stronger, healthier, and more resilient.

Dominick McIntyre

Hitting Coordinator

Dominick played High School baseball at Peachtree Ridge and went on to compete at the University of North Alabama, where he was a four-year starter at the Division I level. During his college career, he earned Conference Player of the Week honors and faced top programs like Vanderbilt, Ole Miss, and Mississippi State.

He now works with the Athletek staff and is a key part of the All Barrels Hitting Academy. Dominick is passionate about developing young hitters and outfielders. With his recent college playing experience, calm demeanor, and ability to relate to players, he brings a modern and impactful approach to teaching the game.

Isaac Haynes

Assistant Pitching Coordinator

Isaac, an Atlanta native, began his college baseball career at Howard University before returning home to complete his education and playing career at Georgia State University. He holds a Bachelor’s in Health and Physical Education and a Master’s in Educational Leadership. Since 2004, Isaac has worked as a Health and Physical Education teacher and administrator, and his coaching career spans middle school through more than a decade as a high school head baseball and softball coach. He later served as an associate scout for both the Baltimore Orioles and Cincinnati Reds and worked nationally with America’s Baseball Camps, coaching and evaluating athletes across the country.

Known for his patience and ability to connect with players, Isaac values the unique strengths each athlete brings. He is passionate about helping young athletes develop on and off the field, guiding them in both their baseball skills and personal growth.

Tyler Haswell

Assistant Pitching Coordinator

Tyler grew up in the Atlanta area and attended Peachtree Ridge HS where he was rated the 26th best pitcher in the state and the Gwinnett Co Pitcher of the Year in 2013. All of that was good enough to land him in the SEC at the University of South Carolina where he spent his college playing days. During his time at South Carolina, Tyler learned from some of the best staff in the southeast and competed in one of the toughest baseball conferences in the nation.

Since his playing days, Tyler has committed to helping young pitchers maximize their potential through getting stronger, throwing the ball better, and harvesting intensity.

Jason Hartline

Pitching Instructor

Jason

grew up in Virginia Beach, VA, and graduated from Greenbrier Christian Academy, helping lead the program to back-to-back state championships in 2015 and 2016. He went on to walk on at Old Dominion University, where he earned a major role in the Monarchs’ bullpen. Over his career, he pitched as both a starter and reliever before establishing himself as a dominant middle reliever and closer. Jason posted a 1.88 ERA, a 5–0 record, a 6:1 strikeout-to-walk ratio, earned Second-Team All-Conference USA honors, and set the ODU program record with 102 career appearances. He was part of the 2021 team that won the Conference USA Championship and entered the NCAA Tournament as the No. 11 national seed.

After graduating, Jason moved to the Atlanta area in October 2022 to pursue a career in sales and marketing. He also coaches baseball in Sandy Springs, focusing on developing pitchers both mechanically and mentally to help them compete with confidence at a high level.

Mike Gedman

Hitting Instructor

Mike is a former two-way Division I and professional baseball player with more than 13 years of coaching and player-development experience. A standout at UMass and a Northwoods League All-Star, he went on to play professionally, leading the CAN-AM League in complete games. His coaching career includes stops at Division I Bryant University, Framingham State, ABAC, and Georgia State, along with 15+ years of private instruction and travel-ball coaching. He helped guide Bryant to a 45-win season and an NCAA Regional victory over Arkansas, and led Framingham State to conference championship games in back-to-back years.

Baseball runs deep in Michael's family—his father, Rich, is a two-time MLB All-Star and Boston Red Sox Hall of Famer, and his brother Matt was a Red Sox draft pick and five-year professional player. Michael brings a player-first approach, high energy, and extensive experience to help athletes develop, compete, and reach the next level.

Mikee Moore

Hitting Instructor

Mikee is a local Atlanta native who played his High School baseball at Dunwoody, where he was part of a State Championship team. After high school, he continued his playing career at Maryville College, earning multiple 1st Team All-Conference and All-Region honors. He finished up at Georgia College & State University, stepping into a starting role in right field and competing against top-level Division II programs.

Since wrapping up his playing career, Mikee has spent the last decade coaching, training, and developing youth baseball players. He specializes in hitting and outfield play, bringing a sharp eye for detail and a clear, player-first approach. Mikee now works as part of the Athletek staff and the All Barrels Hitting Academy, where his energy, experience, and passion for teaching continue to impact athletes at every level.

Seth Bennett

Hitting & Catching Instructor

Seth played High School baseball at Peachtree Ridge HS and graduated in 2020 before heading to Young Harris College to continue his playing career. Seth is now finishing up his degree at Kennesaw State University with aspirations of becoming a school teacher and coaching High School baseball.

Seth also coaches travel baseball for the Outlaws Travel Baseball organization in Atlanta. His passion for the game, knowledge and wisdom as a catcher, and infectiously positive attitude makes him a great mentor and teacher of the game.
